Swansea care and rehabilitation center has been sued by the estate of former resident Dorothy Frolker, who suffered severe and permanent injuries after falling at the nursing home. The incident occurred on March 25, 2007. The complaint contends that Swansea failed to provide and train adequate staff members to ensure Frolker’s safety, did not attempt to prevent her fall, and did not follow proper procedures of medical care following the accident.
Frolker’s estate is seeking damages in excess of $50,000, plus court costs and attorney’s fees.
